The 1987 LEGO Speed Champions Ferrari F40 Competizione (LEGO F40 C), marked with the number 75890, is a LEGO version of the Ferrari F40 and F40 Competizione cars.[1][2] It appears in the second Forza Horizon 4 expansion, the LEGO Speed Champions Expansion, which was unveiled at E3 2019.[3]
Overview[edit | edit source]
The in-game version of the LEGO F40 C, while based on the toy version, has exactly identical specifications to the normal F40 C, including the engine.[4]
The toy version of the F40 C includes a Ferrari racing driver minifigure in a racing suit that also appears in Forza Horizon 4.[1][4] The race-ready, buildable LEGO F40 C is shipped with a minifigure cockpit with removable windshield, wheels with rubber racing tires, translucent light-style elements, racing colors, and authentic design details, plus interchangeable hoods and rear spoilers that can turn the car into the normal Ferrari F40.[1] All of these are featured in the in-game version of the car.[4]
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
Performance[edit | edit source]
The LEGO F40 C's performance is identical to that of the normal F40 C except for slightly better stock handling. Its performance in comparison to the standard F40 C at the top of S2 Class, though, is slightly inferior, especially given the LEGO F40 C's lack of engine swaps. While its rear wing and front bumper are adjustable at stock, they do not provide much in the way of maximum adjustable downforce.

- AWD
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Different from the normal F40 C, the LEGO F40 C's in-game year is 1987 instead of 1989 due to being able to be customized to look like the normal F40, which is a 1987 model.
- Like with the other two LEGO Speed Champions cars, the LEGO F40 C cannot be painted in any color other than its manufacturer colors.
- Due to being badged as a LEGO Speed Champions car in the game instead of a Ferrari, the LEGO F40 C is not eligible in the Ferrari vs. Lamborghini Raceoff and Ferrari vs. McLaren Raceoff Special Car Themes.
