The 2019 Ford Ranger Raptor (Ranger Raptor) is a high-performance pickup truck variant of the T6 Ford Ranger. It was added to Forza Horizon 4 on July 2, 2019 as an Autoshow-purchasable car.[1]

The Ranger Raptor marks the debut of the 2.3 liter Ford EcoBlue twin-turbo diesel engine with 210 horsepower and paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission.[2] It is not sold in the United States of America due to stronger national preference for the larger, V6-powered Ford F-150 Raptor.[3]

Overview[edit | edit source]

Specifications[edit | edit source]

The Ranger Raptor comes with a 1,996 cc, 2.0 L twin-turbocharged diesel inline-4 engine internally known as the EcoBlue. It makes 211 hp (213 PS; 157 kW) and 369 ft·lb (500 N·m) of torque.[2]

The Ranger Raptor has a weight rating of 5,141 lb (2,332 kg), making it lighter than the F-150 Raptor.

Performance[edit | edit source]

  • 0 - 60 mph (0 - 97 km/h): 10 seconds
  • 0 - 100 mph (0 - 161 km/h): 29.9 seconds
  • Top speed: 210 km/h (130 mph)

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

Unlike the vast majority of cars added to Forza Horizon 4 after launch, the Ranger Raptor can be purchased from the Autoshow without any DLC requirements beforehand.

The Ranger Raptor can compete with the larger F-150 Raptor, Chevrolet Colorado ZR2, and Mercedes-Benz X 250 d in Class A Cross Country Series racing, having superior handling over the F-150 Raptor.
