The Zenvo ST1 is a mid-engined hypercar manufactured by Zenvo.
The ST1 is the first model by the Danish company, powered by a twin-charged (supercharged and turbocharged) V8 engine producing over 1,086 hp (809 kW).
Overview[edit | edit source]
Design / Chassis[edit | edit source]
The Zenvo ST1 is manufactured almost entirely by a small team of workers, with the exception of a high performance, 5-axis CNC router. The ST1 comes equipped with keyless entry, satellite navigation, telescopic steering wheel adjustment, and electronically adjustable leather racing seats.[1]
Zenvo claims the ST1, which was designed by Christian Brandt and Jesper Hermann, is entirely a result of Danish design. The carbon fiber body was made in Germany, and many components such as gauges, gas tank, ABS brakes, traction control and airbags come from American or German made cars. The ST1 has a curb weight of 3,721 lb (1,688 kg).[2]
The ST1 has a 44%/56% weight distribution.
Engine / Drivetrain[edit | edit source]
The ST1 uses a 7,000 cc (7 L; 427.2 in3) twin-charged V8 engine generating 1,104 PS (1,089 hp; 812 kW) at 6,900 rpm and 1,430 N·m (1,055 ft·lb) of torque at 4,500 rpm.[2]
The ST1 uses a seven-speed sequential automatic gearbox driving the rear wheels.[2]
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
In Forza Horizon 4, the Zenvo ST1 is unlockable by getting all 30 stars in World's Fastest Rentals.
Advantages[edit | edit source]
The Zenvo ST1, owing to having a very powerful engine, has fast acceleration, reaching 100 mph (161 km/h) in less than 5.6 seconds and a top speed of 380 km/h (236 mph).
With drag tires and weight reduction upgrades installed, as well as an AWD drivetrain swap, it can reach 60 mph (97 km/h) in less than 1 second, making it decent for short drag races.
Disadvantages[edit | edit source]
The ST1, despite being rear-wheel drive, has some understeer in corners, due to being a more speed-focused car and having a weight of up to 3,944 lb (1,789 kg). In addition, it is inferior to less powerful cars like the McLaren P1 GTR, McLaren Senna, TVR Cerbera Speed 12, and GTA Spano, as the ST1's aerodynamics are less efficient and its top speed is also not too impressive for its class. Plus, it suffers from moderate wheelspin off the line, requiring players to feather the throttle.
