The McLaren M840T is a family of 3,994 cc (4 L; 243.7 in3) twin-turbocharged 90° V8 engines produced by McLaren Automotive since 2017. The M840T is a development of the M838T.

Naming[edit | edit source]

The M840T retains the M838T's engine naming nomenclature, but with "40" instead of "38" to denote the engine's increased 4.0 L displacement.
