The 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Forza Edition (leaderboard name: Aventador FE) is a Forza Edition variant of the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4.
The Aventador FE is a drag-tuned variant of the Aventador LP 700-4, complete with a heavily upgraded V12 engine and low-pressure drag tires.[1]
Overview[edit | edit source]
Design / Chassis[edit | edit source]
By default, the Aventador FE comes with a Race Chassis Reinforcement / Roll Cage upgrade installed, as well as Race Weight Reduction, bringing the weight of the car 486 lb (220 kg) down from the Aventador LP 700-4.[1][note 1]
The Aventador FE also comes with drag tires paired with American Racing Outlaw II rims, measuring 325/35R17 on the front and 405/35R17 on the rear.[1] The car has a front ride height of 2.5 in (6.4 cm) and a rear ride height of 2.9 in (7.4 cm).[1]
The car comes in only the Bianco Canopus color as standard, albeit with a very slightly different saturation value.
Engine / Drivetrain[edit | edit source]
The Aventador FE's engine is a heavily upgraded version of the Aventador's L539 V12. It now displaces 7,000 cc (7 L; 427.2 in3) and comes with sport-tier twin-turbochargers, race intake, race fuel system, race valves, race pistons and compression, and a race intercooler, all for a maximum output of 1,647 hp (1,228 kW) and 1,198 ft·lb (1,624 N·m) of torque.[1]
The seven-speed single-clutch semi-automatic transmission in the Aventador FE is an upgraded version of the Aventador LP 700-4's transmission, with freely adjustable gear ratios:[1]
Final Drive | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th | 7th |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
3.27 | 3.35 | 2.10 | 1.56 | 1.22 | 1.00 | 0.83 | 0.70 |
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Forza Edition is an exclusive car, meaning it cannot be obtained from the Autoshow. Instead, it must be obtained either from the Horizon Wheelspin, Auction House, or as part of the #FORZATHON Shop.
Advantages[edit | edit source]
The Aventador FE is a drag-tuned car, and as such, drag races are its specialty. It is capable of outrunning the vast majority of cars in the game, capable of completing The Juggernaut at an S2 Class tune in less than 42 seconds, making it one of the fastest S2 Class drag cars, behind the Koenigsegg CC8S. Its true power is unlocked in drag races longer than 0.4 mi (0.7 km), where it can easily beat the Dodge Dart HEMI Super Stock and TVR Cerbera Speed 12.
Disadvantages[edit | edit source]
The Aventador FE exhibits strong understeer due to using drag slicks, making it extremely unsuitable for track use. Because of this, players attempting clean runs on The Juggernaut with the Aventador FE must tune their car properly to induce some oversteer and alleviate a little bit of the understeer, and learn to enter turns earlier than normal.
The Aventador FE remains inferior to the McLaren F1 GT, Rimac Concept Two (except on The Juggernaut), Shelby Monaco King Cobra, and Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione.
Customization[edit | edit source]
As with the standard Aventador, the Aventador FE can be customized with the Liberty Walk widebody kit.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Forza Edition is curently the fastest and most powerful Lamborghini car in the Forza series to date.
Mistakes[edit | edit source]
- As with the standard Aventador and its LP 750-4 SV variant, the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Forza Edition has its in-game name incorrectly displayed as Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Forza Edition (without the space between "LP" and "700-4").
- In addition, its stock power output is again the incorrect 700 hp (522 kW), even though it is supposed to be 690 hp (515 kW), taking into account that the "700" in the car's name is the car's metric horsepower (PS) output.
- The Aventador FE's stock weight rating is 3,472 lb (1,575 kg), which only matches with the Aventador LP 700-4's real life dry weight rating; logically, the Aventador FE should be 4,085 lb (1,853 kg) at stock as well.
Appearances[edit | edit source]
