The Ford Transit SuperSportVan Forza Edition (leaderboard name: Ford Transit FE) is a special Forza Edition variant of the Ford Transit SuperSportVan featured in Forza Horizon 4.[1]

Overview[edit | edit source]

Design / Chassis[edit | edit source]

The Ford Transit FE features some exterior modifications, including matte black side skirts, front bumper, and rear bumper, along with a single exhaust outlet.[1]

It comes with a white paintjob, although the word "TRANSIT" is still written on the front doors of the van.[1]

The Transit FE has a weight rating of 3,303 lb (1,498 kg).[1]

Engine / Drivetrain[edit | edit source]

By default, the Ford Transit FE features the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4's L539 V12 engine, fully upgraded with twin-turbochargers and various other upgrades for 7,000 cc (7 L; 427.2 in3), 1,515 hp (1,536 PS; 1,130 kW) at 8,700 rpm, and 1,102 ft·lb (1,494 N·m) at 5,500 rpm.[1]

The Ford Transit FE uses an upgraded seven-speed manual transmission with similar gearing to those found on Ferrari models with seven-speed transmissions.[1] Unlike the Transit SSV, the Transit FE's transmission drives all four wheels.[1]

Performance[edit | edit source]

  • 0 - 60 mph (0 - 97 km/h): 4.0 seconds[1]
  • 0 - 100 mph (0 - 161 km/h): 6.5 seconds[1]
  • Top speed: 410 km/h (255 mph)[1]

The Ford Transit FE features drastically improved handling from the standard Ford Transit SSV, even at high speeds. In addition, it has a power-to-weight ratio of 1,011 hp (1,025 PS; 754 kW) per tonne, or 2.18 lb (0.99 kg) per horsepower, unusual for a van.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

The Ford Transit FE, along with the Nissan TITAN Warrior Concept Forza Edition and Pagani Zonda R Forza Edition, is available only with a VIP Membership in Forza Horizon 4.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Just like the Pagani Zonda FE, the Ford Transit FE features a unique drivetrain not seen in its original counterpart.
  • The Ford Transit FE is displayed as a mid-engined van instead of being front-engined; however, this may have been for the purpose of improving and balancing its handling, which would have otherwise become more ponderous at the high speeds above 217 mph (350 km/h) it is capable of reaching.
  • The Ford Transit FE's mid engine layout suggests that it was a stand-in for the Ford Supervan 3 until the latter was added into Forza Horizon 4 in Series 19.

Therefore, its stock specs are very close to those of the Supervan 3, further supporting this theory.
