The Ford GT Horizon Edition (GEN2) (leaderboard name: 2017 Ford GT HE) is a special Horizon Edition variant of the GEN2 Ford GT.

Overview[edit | edit source]

The 2017 Ford GT HE is a speed and track-tuned variant of the GEN2 Ford GT, complete with a heavily upgraded engine, race level aerodynamics, and a different set of rims. It is colored entirely in black with two white racing stripes and is tuned to the top of S2 Class.[1]

Engine / Drivetrain[edit | edit source]

The 2017 Ford GT HE now has the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4's L539 V12 engine, upgraded to 7.0 L (7,000 cc; 427.2 cu in), 1,310 hp (977 KW), and 953 ft·lb (1,292 N·m) of torque. It is equipped with twin turbochargers.[1]

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

The 2017 Ford GT HE's best known use is for grinding Credits, usually through the Goliath Circuit. This is further amplified with higher game difficulty settings and all perks purchased from the Skill Shop.

Advantages[edit | edit source]

The 2017 Ford GT HE, having moderately better handling than its base counterpart, certainly is no slouch around the track. It is capable of a very high top speed of 264 mph (425 km/h), as well as exceeding 245 mph (394 km/h) in one mile of full throttle driving. In addition, it has handling comparable to that of the Pagani Huayra BC.

Disadvantages[edit | edit source]

The 2017 Ford GT HE suffers from moderate to strong wheelspin due to being RWD and having a powerful twin-turbocharged engine; thus, proper throttle management is very important in this car.
