The 2017 Ferrari GTC4Lusso (leaderboard name: Ferrari GTC4L) is a four-seat grand tourer produced by Ferrari since 2016 as an entry level V12-engined luxury car.

The GTC4Lusso was introduced in 2016 as the successor to the Ferrari FF. It is also sold as a twin-turbocharged V8-engined model named the GTC4Lusso T.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Design / Chassis[edit | edit source]

The GTC4Lusso is designed as a three-door shooting brake with an AWD drivetrain and a similar body to the FF it replaces. The rear incorporates Ferrari's signature quad circular rear lights for the first time since the Ferrari F430 and 430 Scuderia, while the interior features a Dual Cockit Concept Design that separates the driver cockpit and passenger cockpit by a central divider. The front end of the car appears with a single grille that provides all the necessary cooling The GTC4Lusso is a further refinement of the shooting brake coupe, reinterpreting the concept with an extremely streamlined, tapered shape that gives it an almost fastback-like silhouette.

The GTC4Lusso has a dry weight of 3,946 lb (1,790 kg) and a curb weight of 4,233 lb (1,920 kg).[1][2]

Engine / Drivetrain[edit | edit source]

The GTC4Lusso features a 6,262 cc (6.3 L; 382.2 in3) naturally aspirated 65° V12 engine, internally known as the F140 ED. It makes 690 PS (680 hp; 507 kW) at 8,000 rpm and 514 ft·lb (697 N·m) of torque at 5,750 rpm.[3]

The GTC4Lusso uses a seven-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission driving all four wheels (known as the 4RM Evo), integrated into four-wheel steering into the 4RM-S.[3] At speeds above 124 mph (200 km/h), the transmission drives only the rear wheels.[4]
